天生乐天派的大帅，无意间被闪电劈中，莫名其妙地来到了平行时空，并把另一个空间的会计师小柔带回到自己家里。惊恐之余，这对来自两个时空素昧平生的独身男女在极限拉扯中竟对彼此生情，他们的爱情最终能否战胜彼此的空间？。本片是同一故事第三度重拍的版本。此片将好莱坞的背景改成今日的摇滚乐坛，男主角原是着名的摇滚乐歌手，而女主角则在小型夜总会卖艺。影片中有不少热门插曲，部分片段的镜头和表演都不俗，但整体则显得有点矫揉造作，角色欠缺真正的生命感，不过娱乐性还是维持相当水准。本片曾获奥斯卡最佳电影插曲金像奖。。Americans are working harder for less pay.
