菜鸟救护员及支援人员上班的第一天晚上，就遇到了受重伤的超级英雄，还因此卷入了他的超级任务中。因事态危机紧急还自愿加入组成英雄联盟，就是要从邪恶组织手中，拯救洛杉矶……。隆冬时节，一个风雪交加的黄昏，屠夫胡山急匆匆走在商洛山道上。他父母双亡，在长安城里以屠宰为业，正前往商州贩猪。行走间，发现一个人倒毙雪中。经抢救那人得以复生。原来此人名叫党金龙，乃忠臣之后。8年前，奸臣杨猎欲篡王位，皇上将国宝夜明珠交党秉忠保存，以为扶佐太子登基的凭证。杨猎设毒计害死党秉忠，党秉忠之妻携儿党金龙、女党凤英带珠逃走。如今，党金龙化名朱文进，进京赶考，母亲嘱他得中后为父报仇。党金龙得救后，仍自称朱氏，与胡山结为异姓兄弟，并发誓如若忘恩，就死于河中。党金龙一举高中状元，谁料在太师杨猎高官厚禄的诱惑下，竟把国恨家仇扔于脑后，认杨猎为义父，卖身求荣。党母听说儿子考中，遂携女进京，途中又与凤英走散，只身流落长安城东濡河桥头，适逢杨猎、党金龙游春至此，党母上前认子，党金龙竟起杀心，将生母踢翻落水，幸有胡山救起，认作干娘。尔后胡山又救出走投无路、跳水自尽的党凤英，二人又认作兄妹，党母与凤英得以团聚。此时皇上老迈染疾，遂张榜寻宝，以使太子登基。胡山误揭皇榜，党母取出夜明珠，遣胡山进京献宝。皇上大喜，御封"西召御史"，夸官亮宝三日。杨猎、党金龙赶来抢宝，在濡河桥头再次与党母、凤英相遇。党金龙丧尽天良，执剑要杀母、妹，胡山激于义愤刺死奸臣杨猎，并将忘恩负义的党金龙推落河中。胡山的品格很得皇上的赏识，命加官一品，扶佐太子还朝。党母朱氏加封为一品诰命夫人，在皆大欢喜之时，胡山与党凤英结为夫妇。。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
