Although all seems fine on the surface, cracks in both relationships come to light when, one night at dinner, Chris lashes out at his wife, Yvonne. The film explores both love and loss and ultimately asks the question, How well can any of us really know each other?。少しは面白い事でも起きないのか？ などとぼやきつつつも、特に自分からはなにをするでもなく、ゆうちゃんや、いきなり割り込んできた（と勝手に思っている） こみなんとかさん達と怠惰な中学生活を過ごしている智子。そんなある日、拾った鍵で立ち入り禁止の屋上へと忍び入る智子。妙な開放感を味わっているさなか、見知らぬ下級生まで屋上に紛れ込んできてしまった。焦るあまり、智子はキテレツな行動に打って出るのだった。。
