陈塘关总兵李靖负责替天庭看管宝物，他的儿子哪吒（释小龙 饰）聪明伶俐，武艺高强。某日，土地公公的干儿子猪八戒（郝邵文 饰）闯入府中，惹出不少祸端，幸得哪吒帮助方脱离危险，两人从此成为好友。两个小家伙玩心骤起，将书房弄得乱七八糟。适值此时，西海和东海龙宫联姻，西海龙女不愿出嫁。哪吒在海边戏耍，搅扰龙宫动荡不安，龙女更趁机逃跑。哪吒出手相助，与三太子展开厮杀。
