众人回到荒芜之地发现自己的部族在屠戮常人，众人快马加鞭却错过部族屠戮常人的部队，三人回忆童年却又对常人的看法出现了分歧。第二天部队返回，三火质问首领为何屠杀常人，并举行仪式要成为部族首领。最后仪式被打断，部族分裂成了两部分。三火众人收到了白骨姬愿意帮助众人的消息。众人带着白骨姬路过车迟国，却发现这里异人为王，刚刚高兴却发现常人备受压迫，与国王理论之时却发现一切都是异人将军所做，众人打败将军继续前行。。该剧主要通过讲述一个生活在社会底层的中年男人——下岗职工陈立正的苦难和坚强，加以亲情，感情和生活的元素，通过描写围绕这个人物身边的人和事，希望唤醒人们心中渐渐麻木的诚信、责任、廉耻和悲悯意识。。Based upon James Ellroy's novel 'Blood on the Moon'.
