故事发生在一家从昭和时代就开始经营至今的咖啡店中，在这家咖啡店里有一个神奇的座位，坐在这个座位上的人能够回到他们想要回到的过去某一日，重温旧日时光，而时限就是一杯咖啡从滚烫到冷却的那么长时间。回到过去的人是无法干涉已经发生过的事情，亦无法改变未来，可即便如此，想要体验这神奇时刻的客人仍然络绎不绝。 在感情和现实之中纠结无法做出选择的OL清川二美子（波瑠饰）、一直过着形单影只的生活的平井八绘子（吉田羊饰）、因为阿兹海默症而渐渐失去记忆的高竹佳代（药师丸博子饰），每一个人的生命里，都有不惜代价想要回到的那一天。。Seven days, more than 1,000 miles, 20 cars, two boats, a motorbike and one dream...The Perfect Road Trip.
